Drawing completed in 1997.  One of my favorite and largest works is, Blue Twilight, featuring my front yard with the thick foliage of tulip poplar trees in summer twilight. In fact, the images that come together in Blue Twilight, describe houses, branches, and foliage in various lighting situations, seen from full darkness to full daylight and in between. All of them could not possibly be present together in the same dim light. The details in this landscape reflect a composite of elements, both seen and imagined, submerged in a deep blue veil that coalesces into an instant.
